I bought a pair of these adorable French Gnome Mugs for E while we living in Chicago and he was first learning to play the accordion. They have little French names on the backs, so when we make coffee in the morning, I'll say "Here you are Leon. " and he'll say "Well thank you Marcel!".One of them is in quite sad shape- all chipped and worn, so I was happy to see this wonderful shop still has them in stock in case mine bites the dust. (You can shop online, but if you're ever in Chicago, make sure you stop by to visit. You won't be sorry! It's stuffed with amazing vintage cookware and hotel silver, plus fabulous reproductions and wonderful European toys.)
