The rocking chair in the nursery is my favorite piece of furniture. I rock my daughter there every night and it's special to me because I've used it with all 3 of my children.

When I was 2 or 3 my grandmother bought some chairs at the Cost Plus in San Francisco. These chairs were for my and my sister (we are now 46 and 45). These chairs have been brought to my parent's place and our younger siblings used them and now my nieces and nephews love sitting on them. A 20 month old nephew even brings it to the kitchen to sit on when everyone else is sitting at the table.

I love the nooks- I'm half tempted to get rid of our current beat of a dining room table/chairs (which NEVER gets used), and install a nook, and then turn the rest of the room into something else FUN.

My favorite piece of furniture? Hmmm... probably my bed. So boring, but it's the only place I can go to escape for a little bit (besides my porch swing, which is not really furniture...)

I love CSN. My daughter's bedroom set is from them (amazing loft bed) and I am eyeing a few chairs right now for the bedroom so I can stop hiding under the covers and curl up on a comfy chair, instead! :)

My bed haha. It is the best thing to come home to after a long day or a long work out session! It has so many pillows and lots of blankets :)

My favorite piece of furniture is my loveseat. My son loves to stand on it and look out the window, and it's really comfy as I made my hubby buy it saying I really wanted a comfy piece of furniture for when I got pregnant again (and am currently 30 weeks along so good buy!).

I like the Brookhaven Monroe dining set (http://www.diningroomsdirect.com/Brookhaven-Home-D225TB-D225TT-D225S-HMF2156.html) I love that it's a very traditional design, and looks very elegant!

My all-time favorite piece of furniture is the bookcase that I designed and my step-father built for me as my college graduation gift. It has always been one of my most cherished possessions, but it took on even more meaning when he died suddenly of stomach cancer in the summer of 2006. (http://daleswan.blogspot.com/)

The bookcase is just over 7 feet tall, and includes some shadow-box-style shelving to display my lovely vases (as well as more than ample shelving to display my favorite books from my collection). It has been the showpiece in every living room of every apartment or house I've lived in since he gave it to me in 2000. I LOVE IT!

How exciting! I have a little chest with 3 drawers that I use for a nightstand in my guest room. My Daddy found this piece back in the '60s painted green and stripped it down to repaint. What a wonderful surprise...it is cedar! And the best part...there were 2 of them! So my sister has one...and I have the other! We cherish them...and they look great! Thanks for the memories, sweet one! ♥

My favorite piece of furniture is my storage bed. It is queen sized and has 6 drawers, 3 on each side of the bed. Without it, we would not have enough space to put all our stuff.

My favourite piece of furniture is our couch & loveseat. (ok, 2 pieces ;) They're leather recliners & we love them. We were lucky to get a good deal on them b/c my dad was retiring (family owned furniture store). They remind me of the furniture store (I worked there when I was a teenager) and make me think a lot about our family legacy! (And they're so comfy they make us happy! ;)

I love my daughter's desk ... my husband and I bought it in a pretty sad condition, and we painted it and added a floral paper to the top. It looks really cute now, and I love that WE did it ourselves. Plus, my daughter is super artistic, so it's extra cool that she uses her desk all the time to create great art.
