DIY Jewlery Display

I decided to fancy up my jewelry display by creating a decorative pin board with an old frame and some decorative paper, It's really simple. You'll need some foam core, and old frame (don't worry if it has no back or glass), spray adhesive, gift wrap or wallpaper, and a box cutter.

Adhere the paper to the foam core, working from the middle to the outside edges to avoid air bubbles. Then trim the foam core to fit the frame. Fit the foam core inside the frame and use straight pins to display your baubles.

Your closet just got a bit more glamorous! (And you can see all your jewelery at once!) The better to wear it all, my dears!

Pretty! Right now I have my jewelery up on a plain cork board, but yours looks so much nicer!

ack! i need to do this. don't tell, but i've found my old caboodle (i know!) and have just been hiding my jewelry in it in the closet for months now, going in to get a few things and then quickly get out. it's hilarious. and embarrassing. time to try your idea. :)

Hah! That's so funny! I have two caboodles secretly stashed under the table at the foot of my bed. One with seldom worn jewelry and hair adornments that I don't use with my short hair but keep for when I want to grow it out again and the other with seldom worn makeup like that hot pink lipstick I bought for a Halloween costume and should really get rid of. Can you say packrat, anyone? I should totally try out the cute frame idea and get some of my pretties out of storage.
