Don't you think there is something really romantic about running away to get married? Just a boy and a girl at Niagra Falls with a suitcase in the trunk and some champagne chilling back at the motel...
They'd pack in this pretty suitcase, of course.
He'd tuck these gold rings safely into the pocket of his Seersucker suit.
And tie on a bowtie of dapper Madras Plaid.
And pin on a boutonniere to match.
She'd don a simple flyaway veil...
a vintage lace suit...
and some pointy toed pumps.
After getting hitched, they'd send this postcard to the folks back home.
Then they'd pin these buttons on each other and pop open that Champagne.
Instead of cake, they'd feed each other fluffy marshmallows in bed.
and they'd spend the night listening to records and making love until the sun came up. And in the morning, they'd get into their car and drive off into the sunrise to live happily ever after! (See the treasury here before it expires!)

I totally bought my husband and i those pins for our honeymoon! my stomach flipped when I saw these!
I love that! Those pins inspired this whole collection. They are ADORABLE! I'm not usually the button sort, but I think I might make an exception here...
Oh, I LOVE this story! So sweet and perfect!
(I especially love the marshmallows instead of cake...!)
Oh! This is SO sweet. I just love it. And.. it reminds me of the first vacation my hubby and I took together... to Niagra Falls (and Toronto) back in college.
:)
So sweet!
We're running off to the courthouse soon. How inspiring for the adventure!
