Josh Ritter
The last time we saw Mr. Ritter perform was in 2005 at Chicago's Double Door. It was hot, crowded and some very obnoxious dudes spent the entire show drunkenly heckling. This tiny show was infinitely more fun. He and Dawn stood on an itty bitty plywood stage and stomped their feet to rattle the tambourine resting there. It seemed like half the crowd were friends and family, while the other half were people who just happened to hear about the show. We felt so lucky to be part of such a magical afternoon.

He was so personable too- after the show he greeted people with hugs and chatted and took photos. I'm kicking myself for being too shy to say hello! (In my defense, he was swarmed with happy fans, but still!)
