Since our gypsy life shows no signs of stopping, I jettison finished books like a sailor tossing ballast overboard in a storm. But of course, I like the idea of sending them off to someone who might enjoy them. Here enters Book Mooch.
After I finish a book, I simply add the ISBN number to my give away list. The system sends an e-mail to everyone in the network with this book in their wish list. The first person to reply by e-mail wins the mooch. I send it out (I’ve opted to ship only within the US of A, but you can also choose to ship internationally.) Once you’ve sent out a book, you win points to select a book from someone else. And so on and so forth. Now this is a good solution for a gal living in the library-less nether regions, wouldn’t you agree?
