I found this tiny three inch tall piece of kitsch on a thrifting expedition with my mom, but I felt it needed to be just a little more audacious. After a few coats of gold acrylic paint and a sprinkling of glitter it looks sufficiently revitalized and is now happily installed on the bookshelf in my office.
