Our favorite cinemaphile, Nick, recently posted twelve films he needs to see. After reading it, Eric confessed that he had never seen To Catch a Thief either. We promptly added it to our Netflix que. This is an impossibly elegant movie: The French Riviera, one very golden looking Grace Kelly, Cary Grant in a dotted silk neckerchief (an inspired touch for the role of an American Frenchified by fifteen years in Nice), a sneaky cat burglar, jewels and murder... well, you’ve certainly got my attention, Mr. Hitchcock.
You will LOVE it! Wonderful cars and Cary Grant and the south of France in the 50's!
