In China, having a car means you've made it. Having a license plate full of lucky number eights is a status symbol. But a vanity plate like this one is akin to parading around town wearing a golden crown, waving your scepter at the riff-raff. Whoever owns this car subscribes to the "If you've got it, flaunt it" school of thought.
