Our heroine has always dreamt of an African safari and she's finally taken the plunge and booked her tickets. Now she's busy packing her bags. Here is her packing list. (Click on the images to visit the listings.)
A safari shirt is the obvious starting point.
This brooch was a gift from her sweetheart. She'll wear it pinned on the lapel of her faithful trench coat or to hold her silk scarf in place.
She has a large collection of animal prints hanging above her favorite leather recliner,
where she has been busy reading about the place she is about to visit.
She can't wait to drink from this gorgeous canteen on those dusty Jeep rides in the field.
She'll wear this necklace at dinner when she really wants to turn heads. (It never fails to get compliments.)
She's pinned this map above her desk for inspiration while she does her travel research.
A pair of khaki shorts are another must.
Some quirky sandals add a bit of personality to all those safari neutrals.
Some very stylish binoculars that fit nicely into her pocket.
A game to play around the fire after a long day of animal admiring.
And a pocket sized journal for field notes and sketches, so she'll never forget all the gorgeous things she's seen.
