I was recently contacted by talented
Etsy Artist Salt and Paper about how and why
I make treasuries. She was kind enough to include my thoughts in
this wonderful article for Etsy's Storque. If you've never created a
treasury of your own before, this article might inspire you to
curate you own! It's such a joy to share the work of the talented folks on Etsy, a wonderful way to stretch your own curatorial muscles and also derive fresh inspiration. I'm constantly jotting down ideas for new lists.
Here is a Kite Treasury I'd been assembling before our sudden move. Sadly, left to languish in my
poster sketch, many have now expired. Here are a few that remain, still timely for the beautiful summer weather we are finally having here in Minnesota.

I'm lusting after absolutely every item by
JulianaBright. Wouldn't this be a delightful gift for a Mother?
This print reminded me of a patchwork of kites in the sky- almost creating a quilt in flight.
This image reminded me of a very fanciful childrens picture book.

This graphic hoodie is just one of many super hip looks by Brooklyn based designer
Ruffeoheartslilsnotty. (What a mouthful! Etsy, please give us spaces in our user names!)
This necklace stole my heart too- I think I'd wear it all summer long!
This shot reminded me of a Chinese doll house. Can you make out if it's a miniature or not? Now I think I've got to go out and find a kite to fly this afternoon while the sun is still shining! What about you? Any big plans for the weekend?

Actually, I'm smitten with the paper airplane version of the kite necklace. Cute!
