Grocery store sunflowers with some lilacs (I think, but could they really be? In the desert?) snipped from the bushes in the apartment complex. Don't tell! While I was clandestinely clipping, I thought of this wonderful poem. I'm also really enjoying this book.

I just finished reading Paul Auster's "Mr. Vertigo" yesterday. Auster's one of my favorite authors. His books are soo incredible....
How Funny! I just started Botany of Desire by Micheal Pollan! I am loving it so far, but fear I will not finish until school is out! The flowers remind me of shopping at the farmer's market in minneapolis before the shower last summer! That was such a wonderful day! Love you so!
