I love all the details in this Pollini ad (fair warning-their website has very loud music blaring on entry). From the fabulous russian netting on her chapeau, the menswear wrapped under a dapper trench to the boldly graphic wallpaper backdrop, this appeals to me because it could be equally at home in any era. This ensemble is equal parts 18th century steamship traveler, Swinging London and avant-guard eighties techno pop bassist. How often do you get to think about all of those in one moment?
