I found these lovely felt camel Christmas ornaments at the wonderful vintage shop The Turnip Truck and just had to have them. I eyeballed the pattern and whipped up my own little take- aren't they a charming family now? I'm feeling inspired to do a whole menagerie of exotic animals with spangles and fancy blankets- elephants sprung to mind of course, horses, and maybe oxen (like these recent Hermes ads, except much much more humble!) I'll be sure to post pictures when they are finished up.
