I like to use season-less gift wrap- I think it's a nice unexpected touch, and I don't have to deal with the added clutter of occasion specific gift wrap. The bonus is that these papers are usually on clearance this time of year. I snapped these up at Target for ninety cents each. (I do like tying on something seasonal though- a bell, some pine cones, or in this case, a pipe cleaner candy cane. Simple and sweet.)

That's a great idea! Unconventional "Christmas" colors are my favorite. I'm rocking the teal and purple jewel-tones this year myself!
