What Color Means to Me

I can't recall if it was Diana Vreeland or Picasso who declared "I never met a color that I didn't like." Either way, I've got to concur. For me, color is life. I love to wear color, dress my home in color, paint with color, photograph color- I just adore it all. So choosing one favorite for this week's Etsy Blog Carnival is no easy task. Of course, there are colors I am drawn to again and again (like chartreuse greens, vivid aqua, cobalt blue and coral pinks and reds).

Since we are still living a nomadic gypsy life, I don't have much new work to share with you (That will change once we arrive at the ranch and I have six months of uninterrupted studio time!I can't wait to roll up my sleeves again.) Instead, I thought I'd share some of the colorful things that are inspiring me lately. Its called R & D folks. None of us works in a vacuum.

I can't imagine that you'd be lacking color inspiration living in China. ;)
