I think Irene is more of a party girl than her dancing cousins. She seems like the type who would prefer a day of shopping and an afternoon of sipping Bellinis to an arduous dance regimen. (A girl after my own heart perhaps)
Her dress was really fun to work out because this mesh is much stiffer than the others I've used. It was a ginger bag in another life. (You'd be shocked how much ginger we go through now that we're cooking Chinese food all the time. Its breathtaking.) In the end I went with a dramatic collar a blue grosgrain ribbon sash and faux pearl slippers. Now if only I could think of something to serve as a champagne flute...
