Here are some snaps of our new pad. These pretty calligraphy brushes were just sitting in a jar on the shelf. I think I might have to take them for a test spin. I love the big fat one. Its like a mop! Our bedroom is lovely, but the mattress is like a rock. The guide books we read mentioned how hard Chinese mattresses can be, but honestly, its like sleeping on the floor. I wonder what Chinese guidebooks say about American beds "They are unbelievable soft. You may have to adjust to sleeping on a very soft bed." Ha! The last picture is Eric opening a leechee. They are sort of like a cross between a grape and a plum with pretty white flesh inside. Delicious!
