You combine 2 frozen bananas, cocoa powder, and a sweetener (maply syrup, honey, etc.) in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Then you can top with walnuts or strawberries…the possibilities are endless. You can also add vanilla or almond flavoring. I recently discovered this and it tastes and looks just like soft serve ice cream. I don’t think I’ll buy real ice cream ever again.Jennifer Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03502835364250000007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22361934.post-37117150788245365392010-08-04T12:38:35.008-05:002010-08-04T12:38:35.008-05:00I gave up sugar and flour in January. We've budgetted a bit, and the area of spending that took the hardest hit was on groceries- as vegetarians we sort of see something that looks interesting and buy it on a whim, but then never make it. It just sits and waits while we go back to old-and-easy-to-make favorites. So now we are trying everything we've ever stocked up on.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17204422715168104427noreply@blogger.com
